The Drawing Board

‘The Drawing Board’ is a team of architecture students from SAUL, the School of Architecture at the University of Limerick. They were asked to contribute to the Table of Contents exhibition. The exhibition curators from LSAD, the Limerick School of Art and Design, are looking for an indoor installation to facilitate the viewing of a short documentary film. The conception and design of this installation will become part of the exhibition as an exemplar of architectural creativity.

Things begin to narrow down and become more clear

Dead ends with linen, as material, and mezzanine, as exhibition space, lead to a day of studies, research and exploration on (Drawing) Horse as a way of defining a space in the gallery and displaying a process and our process.

I'm not quite sure what the film is all about for which this is being made - and why the church is the important factor (maybe the movie is shown there?), but the basic task to create something - an installation - that supports a movie of some sort, giving the audience a greater experience, is quite an undertaking.
But because i'm missing some of the basic information i don't have anything to gage the process and ideas against. That is no problem since it's quite fun to follow along as you guys keep developing your ideas.

The film is in the process of being made, about artists creative process.
As with your brief the process of rejecting, refining and re-imagining a given space to present a film in the best possible way given the limitations of the defined space.
